I purchased this Donna car seat in 2019 and honestly it was one of the best purchases. I have been using it from the moment my baby boy was born to our daily walks to bringing it on our family vacation to Jamaica and being able to hop in an Uber in the city with my baby and having the ability to turn this stroller into a carseat and feel super safe. I wish they made an another version where it grew with them past 35 pounds. I can’t wait to see the additional innovation that this company does as it has been the best purchase for my baby, that is now a toddler.

I’ve had my Doona for over six months and it has made my life as a first-time mom much easier. I always have it in stroller mode and I usually convert it into an infant car seat once I am at the car door. This stroller has made my trips to the Doctor and shopping much easier. Especially during the cold and rainy days, it makes it quick to go in and out of the car. The only down fall is there is not a storage room. I purchased the Doona storage bag that clips onto the stroller.

I went back and forth on this product so much because I knew it would be a hefty investment. I also have a very tall toddler and had considered a number of double strollers. However, once it went on sale for both the car seat and base for the same price, I couldn’t say no.
There isn’t much to install since everything is all-in-one. It came with a very detailed booklet explaining car seat to stroller mode, a car seat protector and the base with its own set of instructions as well.
I’d recommend this option for anyone who wants the ease of traveling with a newborn and not having to grab the stroller component out of the trunk and attach the infant car seat to it, this eliminates that hassle. If you don’t mind having to purchase a bigger car seat in about a year, then this is the option for you.

This car seat/stroller is fantastic, if there’s one thing you should buy for your baby let this be it! It couldn’t be easier to use, and is lighter in weight than our other car seat. The base clips into the car with no effort, and the red/green button on it means you can quickly and easily see when the seat is securely clipped in. I’ve used this pram/seat to travel and it’s been fantastic, as well as in taxi’s and friend’s cars if I’ve been out and plans have changed last minute. Absolutely zero stress with it, and means I can let the baby sleep undisturbed while transporting him. He also loves being in this position and sleeps everytime hes in it, the only downside is as hes so little I can’t leave her in it for longer than a couple of hours at a time. Don’t forget to get the accessories as well we love the rain cover it keeps him nice and dry.

I’ve had the Doona for my baby girl for over 9 months now and it has still been the best purchase ever. We use it every single day and it still works great!
Cons:
-When you transform it to the car seat sometimes the wheels don’t want to click in unless they twist a certain way but it only takes a second or two more.
-We took the Doona on a paved hike and the wheels did get some dust in them and squeaked but WD-40 fixed it and we haven’t had a problem since.
-Our daughter got sick so we had to wash the seat cover and it was a little tricky to take off and put back on. Watching a tutorial on YouTube made it much easier.
Pros:
-We literally have taken it everywhere!! When it’s warm we go on multiple walks a day and it has held up perfectly.
-It maneuvers so well that I can push the Doona around one handed even while turning.
-When we go out to eat it fits next to the table so we can see her and not have to have her in a car seat on the ground.
-It’s nice to bring the Doona to church! We fold it into the car seat when we put her in the pew next to us and then the rest of church it’s in stroller mode.
-Shopping has been the best with the Doona! I’ve only been told once that I couldn’t bring a stroller into a small store and then I transformed it into the car seat and carried the doona while I was in there. The store owner was shocked! Other than that she’s been to lots of shopping centers, aquariums zoos, festivals and parks all in her Doona and it’s been great.
Pro/Con: get ready for tons of people to ask you about your stroller and give compliments!!
Honestly the Doona has made life so much easier and I 100% will use it with every kid I have!!

I work in pediatrics and whenever moms come in with the Doona they make life with a baby look like a dream! I decided to splurge and buy one and I have zero regrets, it’s so easy to transform from car seat to a stroller and to maneuver everywhere. The Doona also lasts 6 years from the manufacture date till it expires so I’m already planning to use it with my second baby in the future. 🙂
